During the Alberto Del Rio Vs Christian match in March 25 Friday night, he attacked Edge from behind but speared by the same superstar.
At March 28, 2011 Raw event, he and his boss Alberto Del Rio lost tag team match to Edge and Christian. Brodus Clay saved Ricardo Rodriguez from Christian, damaged edge’s injured shoulder with ring pole, punished Christian but received a tornado DDT at WrestleMania 27 on April 3, 2011. He speared by Edge during the #1 contender’s match in April 8 Smackdown.
